**My First Thermomix Experience**
The first time I heard about Thermomix was when my sister, Heilyn, went to Switzerland to visit her brother-in-law. The only thing they used for cooking there was their Thermomix, and I was really amazed by the kitchen stories she shared. I even remember asking her why she didn’t buy one to bring home, but since it’s electronic, issues like warranty and voltage held her back.
When our friend Marie mentioned that Thermomix had already arrived in the Philippines as early as July, I wasn’t too excited. Honestly, I’m not much of a "cooking mama," and we’ve had a long-time home cook who takes care of our meals. For that reason, I’m grateful I’m not "required" to cook.

However, in September, 2024, I decided to attend a cooking experience at the Thermomix showroom in Katipunan, Quezon City, to support my sister, who had become an advisor. I had no plans of getting a unit. Jenny Chan was doing the demo that day.

The gambas was plump, juicy and amazing!Here are the reasons why I decided to get a Thermomix:

5. It has a self-cleaning function! Yes, it can clean itself up to 80%. Who doesn’t want that?
6. My kids can use it easily. Very user friendly.
